This small village is situated in a valley of Kalnitza river, next to a beautiful dam and splendid highlands. The air is fresh and healthy and it is suitable for fishing. Town of Yambol is the administrative centre of Yambol Municipality. It is located in the south-east part of Bulgaria, in Toundja-Stranja Lowland. The town has been built on both banks of Toundja /Toundzha/ River, which is the fourth biggest river in the country. Yambol Municipality has a unique structure - it is a town and a municipal centre, which borders on the towns and villages of Toundja Municipality on all sides. There are a seaport and airport 92 km away from Yambol (in Bourgas city). Varna seaport and airport are 189 km away from Yambol. The Danube river port at Rousse is located 185 km north from Yambol. Lesovo - Hamzabeyli border control point with Turkey, which is located 60 km away from the town, is being built.
